Works Progress on StayCity ApartHotel in York

Works are progressing well on our latest Implementation project for a Staycity Aparthotel in York. Located between Kent Street and Paragon Street on the A1036 (less than half a mile to the south east of the city centre and just outside the historic city walls) the new hotel will consist of 197 guest bedrooms and will comprise of a selection of Studio’s, 1 Bed & 2 Bed Suites together with fully accessible bedrooms located at ground floor up to fifth. The ground floor contains the main reception area, a small fitness studio, back of house accommodation such as offices, changing facilities, stores, refuse area and two A3 retail units.

The elevations consist mainly of brickwork, render and metal cladding panels with non-open able bedroom windows and glazed curtain walling. There is a projecting flat roof canopy, supported by columns that had been located above the main hotel entrance.

The completion date for the Aparthotel is June 2016.
