Vacancy - Senior Architectural Technologist/ BIM Coordinator/ Manager

Leach Rhodes Walker is a long established architectural practice based in Manchester, London and Bucharest. The practice has over 80 employees working in architecture, interior design and visualisation. The Manchester office currently has 70 staff with room for expansion.

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven qualified Senior Architectural Technologist/ BIM Coordinator/ Manager with a minimum 7-10 years’ experience using Revit to join the team in our Manchester office working on commercial projects, principally hotels, aparthotels and residential.

The suitable person will be extremely proficient in the use of Autodesk AEC suite of software for project delivery and to manage, maintain and quality control project and practice content.

 

Functions:

  • Create and manage project level design and technical deliverables.

  • Manage project level information management and coordination

  • Create and manage project level Revit families and project file geometry and parametric data content.

  • Lead consultant/designer representing the practice in aspects such as design, technical detailing,  specification, model content, model and design coordination, and information exchanges.

  • Check, verify and validate quality and accuracy of model geometry and data content internally, and as lead consultant/designer for the design team.

  • Create and manage the practice’s BIM procedures and protocols.

  • Create, manage and check the practice standard Revit families, template and project file geometry and parametric data.

Create, manage and maintain:

  • Project models, drawings, reports and specifications.

  • Revit template/library and project content (project template, project files, families).

  • Practice BIM & Revit procedures and protocols.

  • Project BIM Execution Plans.

  • Model coordination including clash detection.

  • Model QC on internal and third party content.

Software/Skills proficiencies:

  • Microsoft Office

  • Revit

  • Autodesk BIM Interoperability Tools

  • Navisworks

  • AutoCAD

  • Solibri

  • Newforma

  • NBS Create

  • EDMS (BIM 360, Aconex, Viewpoint)

  • Model coordination platforms (BIM 360, BIM Track, BIMcollab)

  • COBie QC Reporter

In depth understanding of:

  • Revit best practices.

  • Creating and maintaining BIM Execution Plans.

  • UK BIM Standards, including 1192 suite and ISO 19650 suite.

  • COBie.

  • Uniclass 2015.

  • Current Building Regulations.

                                        Vacancy - Experienced Architect

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven qualified Architect with minimum 3 years post qualification experience to join the team in our Manchester office working on commercial projects, principally hotels, aparthotels and residential.

The successful candidate will need to be a creative designer with good technical knowledge, a team player and have the ability to lead a team throughout the design process.

Essential Requirements:

•             Excellent written and communication skills

•             AutoCAD knowledge compulsory

•             Knowledge of Adobe Suite, primarily Photoshop and InDesign

•             Knowledge of modelling software such as Sketchup

•             Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes

•             Ability to lead a small team under the direction of a Director

•             Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

•             The ability to work independently and as part of a team

•             Good knowledge of Building Regulations

                                          Vacancy - Graphic Designer

Leach Rhodes Walker is a long established architectural practice based in Manchester, with offices also in London.

 

We are looking for an creative Graphic Designer to join the presentation and visualisation team in our Manchester office. 

 

The practice has over 80 employees working in architecture, interior design and visualisation. The Manchester office currently has 70 staff at varying levels of experience.

We have an exciting workload, ranging across several sectors, and we are looking for an enthusiastic graphic  designer who can lead the presentation and promotional material that the practice produces.

 

The work will range from web site work, presentation documents, presentation of drawings and visualisations, through to management, direction and production of brochures, branding and marketing material across the various disciplines within the practice.

 

We have a team who have different levels of experience, and are looking for a team player who enjoys the rapport of colleagues and who can communicate their ideas and offer new ideas on presentation, as well as managing and improving upon the graphics, branding and design approach already established.   

 

The team in the office are close knit and enthusiastic, and we all support one another, so the right candidate will be joining a good spirited collaborative working environment.

Essential Requirements:

  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD would be of assistance but not critical

  • Experience designing for Digital & Print

  • Layout & Typography Skills

  • Creating & Managing Websites

  • Managing Social Media Accounts

  • Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines

  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
