Welcome Back Wayne Jones

We are proud to announce and welcome back our member of staff Wayne Jones.

Wayne is certainly no stranger to Leach Rhodes Walker and returns as a Project Director responsible for the implementation of projects. Wayne has over 30 years of Architectural implementation experience and has recently returned from world renowned Rafael Vinoly Architects. Wayne was site based and responsible for the design, coordination and delivery of the Envelope packages for the new Manchester City Football Academy.

Previously whilst working at Chapman Taylor, Wayne also delivered envelope packages for Manchester Arndale Northern redevelopment following terrorist bomb damage which includes Exchange Square, New Cannon Street and Winter garden malls.

During his years at LRW, Wayne has worked on the implementation side of the business across a wide range of sectors including Retail, Sports, Education, Offices, Industrial, Leisure, Residential, Student Accommodation and Hotels.Taking projects from planning approved stage, onward through to site delivery.

Some notable projects include a site based role at the original Trafford Centre build back in 1996, Cheshire Police HQ and Army Foundation College Harrogate.

Director John Bradley says “ It’s great to have Wayne back, he first joined LRW in 1989 and brings a great deal of technical expertise and experience to the practice. As he’s been here before he knows how we work, will be able to hit the ground running and fit in almost seamlessly within our expanding implementation team”.

When Wayne is not working he is known to be a keen road cyclist that has conquered high mountain passes such as Alpe d’Huez, Mont Ventoux, Col du Tourmalet and Stelvio amongst others.
